• This site is not about whether or not Valua or Moonstone Cannon sounds cooler than Barua or Moonbeam Cannon, or how lame Naslard sounds, it's about the information presented in Eternal Arcadia and its official publications.
• This site does not pretend that "Beam Arts" or "Moonbeam Stone" or any names listed on this site are official terms. The only official term for the this site's use of the word "beam" is the Japanese word "kou." The word "kou" is used in many instances throughout the game, mostly in reference to fictional items and terms, such as Gekkou Hou (Moonbeam Cannon), Gekkouseki (Moonbeam Stone), or Koujutsu (Beam Arts). This is further emphasized by the fact that "Koujutsu" uses Kp, or Kou Points. However, for the intents of this site, every instance the word "kou" is used within a fictional term it will be translated as beam, due to the fact this site needed a word that works well with the word moon and gave a sense of glittering rays of light. In Japanese, the word kou means gleam. However, Kp shall remain as Kp in the event this site ever finds a synonym for gleam that begins with the letter K.
• Originally "Kuuzoku" was going to be translated as "Air Pirates," but the fictional language in the game (as can be seen lower on this page) calls the Dyne Clan's island "Sky Pirates Isle" and thus they shall be called Sky Pirates.
• The word "Viking" can be found a couple of times throughout the game in the fictional game language, usually in reference to the Black Sky Pirates. Because of this, this site will refer to Black Pirates as Black Vikings.

Romanizations of territories and areas will go in this order of hierarchy, from most to least important:

1. All instances where the abbreviation "Is" is used will be changed to "Isle."
2. If a term is spelled the same way twice or more the romanization of that word will be finalized and unquestioned (Barua Empire, Barua Capital, Barua Crater, Nasuru Kingdom, Nasuru Desert, Shrine of Tarutas, Tarutas Cave).
3. If there's an obvious case of Engrish, it will be mended (Island of Sailors, Gargantua Fortress, Dobra's Restaurant, Alchymis' Isle).
4. If there are conflicting spellings, the more sound spelling will be used (Yafutoma Dynasty, Yafutoma, Ryu-kan's Island).
5. If a place is most likely named after a real world place and the in-game spelling conflicts with the real world spelling, it will be mended to fit with the real world's spelling (Montezuma, Maramba, Sargasso).
6. If it cannot be determined that a place is named after a real world counterpart, the remaining spellings above will be used.

The above image is the world map of the "Old World" wallpaper translated. Because some spellings conflict with the game's spellings, it's assumed the terms in the image above are what places and terms were called in the "Old World."
